Oxford art Community

Here at the Oxford Art Community, what we do is about so much more than the camera or the paintbrush, the potter's wheel or the pen.

 We are a small but mighty collective of independent artists and artisans working at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Our shared mission is to foster curiosity and wonder, encourage imagination and self-expression, and actively celebrate those who are casting positive waves but don't always get the recognition they should.

 United in our love for art and passion for patient care, we aim to harness our creativity to inspire, unite, and build abundance in the world around us. To achieve these goals, we rely not only on each other but also on your willingness to pause from the everyday and join us in an exploration of the connection that can be achieved through collaborative and heart-led artistic journeys.

We are very lucky to be part of a diverse team of Photographers, Painters, Sculptors, Illustrators and Writers who are also Nurses, Radiographers, Radiology Assistants, and Care Support Workers. Our duality gifts us with a wide perspective on art's unique power to simultaneously forge resilience, build bridges, shine healing spotlights, and nurture everyone's freedom to play.

Whether you are a fellow creative, a healthcare professional, a thought leader, an art fan, or any combination of the above, we invite you to jump in and find joy in the parts of our work that resonate with you the most.
